This is a page about my course Analysis of Public Policies. The slides are open for downloading below.
Public policy – the way it is made and the way it is implemented – critically affects the lives of all of us. The present course seeks to develop an understanding of the factors that influence policy formulation and the ways in which leading theorists have sought to explain how policy is made. It is also concerned with the ways in which it is implemented and evaluated. The lectures focus on the policy process, agenda-setting, the role of policy models, the role of the state, implementation, and evaluation.
